Peggy Singlemann, retired long-time Director of Horticulture and Park Operations at Maymont, will give a presentation on the transformation of Maymont from a private estate to a public park and sustained effort of the horticulture department to preserve the history of the grounds while welcoming nearly 1 million visitors a year. Following this presentation will be a moderated Q&A with current Senior Manager of Horticulture, Sean Proietti, to learn more about the care and preservation of the park.
