Toddler Time

Connect with the wonder of nature at Maymont! Designed for children ages 18 months to 4 years and their caregivers, Toddler Time encourages little ones to explore, play and learn through hands-on activities led by Maymont educators. 

Each month features a special nature-inspired theme and includes songs, stories, crafts, movement, sensory exploration and animal encounters. Children will also enjoy an up-close animal encounter or another special Maymont experience while building curiosity and confidence alongside their peers. 

Programs take place on Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Location by month: 

• September, December and January: Robins Room, Robins Nature Center 

• October and March: Farm Classroom 1

• November and February: Active Learning Center, Stone Barn  

Program Details 

• Ages 18 months–4 years 

• One adult must accompany each child 

• $18 per parent/child pair 

• Maymont members receive a 15% discount 

• Capacity is limited; advance registration is recommended

Free parking is available (view map). The Robins Nature Center, Maymont Farm and Stone Barn are all wheelchair accessible.
